"Welcome to Tae Talks Science.. Today we're talking about Echo antioxidant water. What is Echo antioxidant water? Well, simply put, it's water infused with hydrogen. Some people may ask, 'Is hydrogen-infused water flammable? or potentially explosive? The quick answer to this is no. When people think of hydrogen they often think of hydrogen bombs - so it makes sense that when people hear the name hydrogen infused water, they get a little concerned. The chemical composition of water is two hydrogen atoms to one oxygen atom and although hydrogen on its own is flammable and oxygen does help keep a fire going after it's ignited, the properties of individual atoms change completely when they combine into molecules. The result of the oxidation of hydrogen its combustion product is simply known as H2O or water. The reason that water in any state is not flammable is that it's already the product of combustion - that's why we use H2O to put out the fires not to stop them. But what about hydrogen infused water? Hydrogen infused water is water that has gone through a process known as electrolysis, so it requires its own electrical charge and has added hydrogen gas running through it. Now I know what you're thinking, electrical charge plus hydrogen gas is just a disaster waiting to happen. However, just like if you mixed gun powder in water - when the gas is dissolved into the water it's not explosive at all. Even when hydrogen is in the air, it's only flammable above a 4 concentration bar volume - which is not a concern when talking about hydrogen infused water.
