Whale shark feeding run 😮

These massive creatures are the largest non-mammal vertebrates in the world. They can live to be 100 years old and can grow to nearly 60 ft long. The sharks assemble near Isla Mujeres, Mexico each year to feed on fish eggs and other tiny plankton in the water. Sometimes you can see dozens at once on the surface, coming through like garbage trucks. This seasonal migration has led to a whale shark tourism industry in the area, a far more sustainable wildlife industry than fishing for them.
