History repeats itself as the Taliban disarms Afghani citizens

Within days the Taliban has retaken Afghanistan and one of the edicts that the new ruling body has implemented is the removal of firearms from the general populous. This echoes past history, Turkey, China, Russia, Germany, Cambodia... etc. We are witnessing, what could potentially be, the most heinous act of democide ever recorded..
