Join me to tour the US Navy's World War II To Vietnam Battleship US S New Jersey, Museum & Memorial. Then check out my tour on the US Navy's World War II Battleship USS North Carolina. Go with me inside the massive 16 inch gun turret and as I explore parts of the mighty battleship.

This is part 3 of a 7 part series on the USS New Jersey. We will go into the Officer's Ward Room and Explore Admiral Halsey's Theaters. In his theater they go into great video, audio and story board features on the life of Admiral Halsey.

Admiral Halsey was the next to last man to be awarded his fifth star that made Fleet Admiral William Halsey, Jr. Only 9 men were ever awarded the 5th star during World War II. Four of those were in the US Navy and Five men in the US Army. From there we will explore the area dedicated to the Chief Petty Officer's history in the United States Navy.

Check out the Captain's & Admiral's cabin, go inside a 5" dual purpose gun, examine the Harpoon & Tomahawk missiles. We start our tour on the quarterdeck, going forward as far as we can on the bow down inside the ship. Into the anchor windlass room, going through crews berthing areas where you can sleep over on the Battleship US S New Jersey. Exploring Admiral's Halsey's theater and tribute section. Then we will check out the Mk 28 Chaffroc chaff rocket launchers that were added in the 1980's.

I made a road trip to visit the USS New Jersey BB-62, Museum & Memorial in Camden, NJ. On this trip I delivered a large museum quality model of the battleship USS California BB-44. There are 7 parts to this video & I will upload them in order. Working our way up and through the massive bridge works of the battleship. Our tour will take us into many compartments and areas. Ending up at the fantail of the mighty battleship. As we leave we will go out along the starboard side so that you can see where the many volunteers are hard at work replacing the teak wood decks. Both side of the battleship are closed off to the public right now until they can replace the teak wood decks. There is so much to see that you need more than just one day onboard the battleship USS New Jersey.

This long with other items was a gift/donation that I wanted to make to support the USS New Jersey BB-62, Museum & Memorial. On my 2nd day of the trip I made it to Camden, NJ just before 10am. I made contact with the curator of exhibits, Aliana Noland. Thankfully they had a elevator which made it easier to bring the model and other items onboard.

I hope that you enjoy this video and check out my other videos that I will be doing. Please check out my playlist for a wide variety of topics that I cover. Including my own cooking recipes, my own travel videos, military museums, cigars, whiskey and much more. At times I roll my own cigars and buy the tobacco wholesale online. While in Camden I found a great local place to eat. The Cherry Hill Diner. Absolutely fantastic food, prices and people.

Enjoy and I do hope you have lots of fun~!
