Bulbuls are medium-sized songbirds that feed mainly on fruits. Common in rural areas of Kerala and in small bushes. These birds are called bulbuls because of the unique sound they make. Bulbs are seen in pairs and in small groups. The main food is small fruits, worms, spiders, and moths. The breeding season is from January to October. There are 130 species of bulbs in the world.
