Vicious Strikes and Hard Hitting Smallmouth Kayaking the North Fork Holston River

Thomas and I hit the North Fork Holston River for the first time in over a month due to low water conditions and it was worth the wait. We had lots of rain last week that gave us plenty of water to float in. The water color was really stained still but cleared quite a bit during the day. If you notice in the video you can actually see the difference from beginning to end. We could also tell we had better quality fish than we have had in recent floats on the same section and the fights were a lot better than before also!
