Hollow promises of safety? | DW accuses Taliban of reprisals against relative of its journalist

The German state broadcaster has sounded the alarm, saying the Taliban are already conducting an organized search for journalists and accusing the organization of killing a close family member of one of its journalists. The accusations come a few days after a Taliban press conference at which they pledged safety to those who worked alongside NATO forces and journalists in Afghanistan.
