"Despicable Display" of Parents on Fire at D51 School Board Meeting!! What really happened...

In this video we see parents and local health professionals sharing facts and heart-felt concerns about kids being subjected to discrimination, isolation, and experimental medical procedures placed upon them by the Mesa County District 51 School Board and Superintendent. This meeting took place on August 17, 2021. Tom Parrish, D51 President, stated that he would allow 45 minutes of public comment (which is not in their bylaws to limit public comment to begin with), but then cut public comments 10 minutes short while condescendingly reprimanding the audience, then stated the board would break for 10 minutes (meanwhile the audience shared their concerns to one another), and finally the board left to finish their meeting virtually... free of any public testimony or accountability.

During this virtual session, the board made several demeaning comments and descriptions of the audience and concocted plans to further limit public interaction in future meetings. Apparently they felt "massively disrespected". Oops!

Well... this is not the kind of leadership we need. The HLPR Coalition was present to show our findings from the research and to support parents and concerned citizens.
