In this video I'm taking a second generation 2005 Volvo XC70 Station wagon for a drive and review

I'll be covering the following topics:

Maintenance/reliability - Based on my research and what I have seen with this car as well, the XC70 is a very reliable vehicle (specifically the first, second and third generations). This specific car has over 400,000kms on it and still going very strong! There are a few issues to look out for such as the transmission beginning to slip as it gets older, and an oil leak from the PCV housing, but overall these cars were known to be almost bulletproof.

Noise/Comfort - The comfort on this car is fantastic. Very soft suspension and comfy seats. You could easily take one of these on a long drive and remain comfortable the entire time.
The noise however, is not as great as there is quite a bit of cabin noise + rattling trim in the interior. I would attribute this to the fact that it is an older car - as I know that newer Volvo's are much better in this area.

Space - Well, it's a station wagon so you can absolutely expect a ton of space in every area of the car - whether looking at head room, leg room or cargo space, all are VERY good in this car. You can easily fit your family + all of your camping gear in the back!

Interior - Mainly due to being an older car, the interior is quite bland and not much to boast about. It is very spacious but lacks in the areas of technology and luxury. I do suspect that back when the vehicle was new though, it would have been a little more desirable.

FUN Factor - This element of the Volvo XC70 is basically non-existent. But we also don't expect it to be fun because of the purpose that it was built for. It has very soft suspension + really isn't all that fast despite having a turbocharger. However, what it lacks in fun, it makes up for in comfort, space and reliability.

If you have any questions about this car, please feel free to send me a message!

Thanks again for watching and God bless!
