An overview of the terminology surrounding the main schools of thought on the interpretation of End Times prophecy. There is a grammatical difficulty in translating the neutral and masculine words that refer to the same force or person in 2 Thessalonians 2 which is holding off the revealing of Antichrist, and we still have no answer for this question. Prophecy should be encouraging to those who read God’s word and faithe in Him. The church may not be the restrainer of Antichrist, but we do have a responsibility to resist him.
