Baby Chick Going Into Food Coma

Our baby chick kept falling asleep in her food.

The backstory to this, is after about 4 days of getting our chicks we noticed this one was chirping in distress and started getting a wry neck and she would run around in circles running into the walls. We isolated her and she would not eat or drink on her own so for a few days I had to give her a supplement water by hand and after 3 days I was very worried about her not eating or drinking on her own. I started giving her vegetable puree through a dropper as well. Her wry neck started to go away and one day shortly after she started drinking on her own! Then a day later she started eating her food so I was very happy. She slept a lot though during this time and this video was taken during that time. It appears she had some sort of nutritional deficiency and is now healthy and happy at 10 weeks old (as you can see from the picture).
