Justin has set out to build teams of veterans, equip, and train them to tackle team based extreme sports goals, and help them execute their new missions. Veteran’s Adventure Group identified a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area. Justin formed the organization to provide sensible solutions to help veterans through peer to peer networking, extreme sports, and veterans adventure therapy. They have consistently grown since then, all thanks to the desire of veterans to push their boundaries and embrace life! Justin talks about the importance of changing the perception of veterans by incorporating civilian volunteers. He also opens up about facing his own personal demons, and how he uses that experience to guide his organization to change the image of the “Broken Veteran”.
