Emilio Grimalkin Torpedo Cigar Review
This 6.5x52 stick features a hearty dark brown, rough and toothy wrapper, a very light but firm and even pack, minimal veins, tight seams and a dusty earth and pepper aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plenty of thick rich medium-full bodied smoke giving flavors of a rich oily deep earth, with a smooth creamy texture, lots of leather and a long finish. The first third continues the first light experience, providing an excellent powerhouse of flavors without a strength buzz. Burn is very good, the ash holds on nice and tight. Ending just under 1 hour, the last third dropped the coffee going to a very substantial smooth earth flavor and bringing up the strength just a touch. The only negative thing was from the 1/2 way point back, thick bitter tar balls started collecting on the head.
