Hot Day on the River with some Spunky Smallmouth Bass!

On the last float on this section of the Holston River we got hammered with storms with lots of rain, thunder and lightening. This week we had nothing but intense heat and humidity all day long. The Smallmouth only wanted plastics and wouldn't look at crankbaits of big swimbaits. Fishing Complete Inc. has a new Case Plastics Pintail Worm that I've been wanting to try and to say I'm impressed is an understatement, the Smallies hammered them Ned Rigged! With all the thick grass lure choices are limited but when you find what you can use and they want you are on it! We hope you enjoy our day on the River!
