Freedom is Addictive

This is a fairly twisted video with a short lesson on the two predominant theories or definitions of liberty: Positive Liberty and Negative liberty. Positive liberty defines liberty as the ability to achieve your desires while negative liberty is the absence of coercive control. PL is conceptually unbounded and pits one person's liberty against that of others. The result is endless conflict. NL is conceptually bounded and clearly delineates where my liberty ends and yours begins. Conflict is avoided rather than fostered and encouraged.
