The Sarah Branham Investigation Part 4: Response From Headquarters

This episode examines the response from headquarters when "Message" cult leaders sent correspondence to Billy Paul Branham asking to help Sarah's dire situation. Upon examination of the various exchanges of letters, Gerald Lee Walker came to the conclusion that the responses from Billy Paul Branham were "self-serving", with "self-evident attributes of dishonesty", "misleading", and written not to the person on the address of the envelope, assumably the court system. It begins by examining copies of letters and dates sent to Billy Paul Branham and how Billy Paul responded. To cult leaders, Billy Paul disclaimed that he was 100% aware of Sarah's desperate situation and had allegedly tried without success to contact her to offer assistance and allegedly received no response. To Sarah, however, the response was quite different.

Months after receiving letters and responding to those cult leaders, Billy Paul claimed that he had just learned of Sarah's condition stating that he "had not heard this until now". He claimed that he was unable to help Sarah, Eddy, and their eight children because "the money in the association cannot be used for anything other than the Message", and that neither he nor anyone else received a salary. Instead of offering to come to her aid, Billy Paul reprimanded Sarah and refused to offer any assistance — contrary to what he had told the inquiring cult leaders.

Last, it examines the decline of Sarah's conditions shortly after Billy Paul and other leaders of the "Message" cult refused to help and "turned her over to Satan for the destruction of her flesh". Social workers had begun the process of taking some of her children away to be a ward of the State due to being homeless and destitute. Sarah sent a letter, pleading for others to help her family including copies for them to verify her condition.
