Believe it or not, this golden Retriever Adopts an Orphan Kitten Rejected By Her Mother

Ponzu, a golden retriever, and Jessiepon, the owner of Ichimi the kitten, took Ichimi in after her mother rejected her. They began nursing her back to health. Ponzu, Ichimi's guardian, has been very good to Ichimi. The two have played together every day and Ponzu even sleeps with Ichimi. Jessiepon's Instagram account shows Ichimi growing stronger every day. Ponzu has found great refuge in Ichimi. Ponzu now has a kitten to care for. Inter-species friendships between animals, especially when they are based on paternal relationships, like this one, are not uncommon.
