I think it’s interesting how other groups understand the power of hiphops influence better than we do. Take the power of words more seriously than we do. The LGBTQ community understand the impact that negative stereotypes and stigmas can have on an entire group so they squash it as soon as it pops up. I only pray that one day Black ppl will understand how perpetuating negative and disrespectful stereotypes of ourselves in our music play a role in others feeling comfortable disrespecting, exploiting, and even killing us with no major repercussions. One day we will stop supporting rappers who call our women B**ch and Hoes, our men niggas, pushing unhealthy vices etc and start “educating” our own ppl for their horrible misrepresentations of a Godly ppl…Black ppl. #TakeNote of what’s happening. #dababy #theshaderoom
