Rainbow's Testimony: Letting Go and Letting God - Part 2

[Rainbow] When my husband came into my life, God used my husband to lead me into an even deeper relationship with Jesus, even more than I had before.
I do thank my mom for taking care of me and for taking me to church every Sunday because she couldn’t teach us about God. My Gratitude goes out to my family for what they did for me. God granted me the desire that was in my heart. I could not be more grateful for such a blessed gift. And by that, I mean a new family, someone to love and the ability to live a life for Him and not for the world. I had been praying for this. Finally, a breakthrough—this was my dream. It became reality in the Lord’s timing and place. And I would like to mention that I was not—well, I was an adult—but I was only sixteen when I got married, and I was sixteen when I left home, so I was very much young. Finally, peace and freedom and happiness have come. I can now have my family and serve Him to my heart’s content.

Please do not give up on the dreams the Lord has placed in your life. By choosing Jesus in your life, you have the greatest advocate in your corner. So, remember, Let go and let God. Keep holding on. I am still holding on to Him for the complete change of my family. And while I wait, He has restored everything I left behind including giving me a new family I can love, and a family that loves me.

I was once broken, I was afraid, I was rebellious, and I did things that many teenagers probably wouldn’t, or shouldn’t even do. And I’ve been there. And even though this is a part of my testimony, and it’s not the full thing, I have been through the fires, and I have been in my pit of sin. And I can tell you that being in the world and being in sin, it’s just not, it’s just not where you want to be. And to be honest with you, this is where I want to be. He took me from being rebellious, being bullied, doubting myself, to making me become just like him. Married at sixteen, a priest at sixteen, a Franciscan Sister at eighteen, and I have a beautiful family, my husband and our two children. And we live a life of solitude and prayer, and total happiness. As well as now, He’s called me into ministry, and he keeps calling me higher. You can find more parts of my testimony in my books, as well. I just thank you for listening to this testimony and I hope that it does, indeed inspired you to be and do more for Christ. And it doesn’t matter what age you are. I could have been ten and laying my hands on hospital walls and people could have been walking out, or I could have been ninety and still doing God’s work. But, in my case, I was sixteen. He took a sixteen- year-old, immature teen, and He turned her into something she could never be.

So, I pray that my family can one day forgive me of my sins against them, as I forgive them of all their deeds against me.

This is my testimony and that was my life, and this is my life now, with Jesus. And I’m proud of it. I’m grateful, and I know that one day He’ll do more, with each and every one of you, as He’s doing with me. See you later...
