The question to whether pit bulls should be banned or not is nothing new.
Concerns over the danger of this breed have been widely shared, with some people calling for ownership regulations in order to stop the incidents of attacks on human beings.
Social media users have again brought up this discussion and expressed shock at the number of cases where pit bulls have killed or mauled people, especially children.
Just last week, a 3-year-old boy was killed by a pit bull in Cape Town.
To discuss this, we're joined by Jeanette Erasmus, President of the Pit Bull Federation of South Africa.
Should these dogs be banned in SA?
