Today we discuss prayer and look at Ezra 9, and Daniel 9 as examples. Daniel's prayer was interrupted by a messenger from God and given one of the most significant Bible prophecies in the Bible-the EXACT date when Messiah would enter Jerusalem!
Jesus deliberately revealed Himself as Messiah on exactly the day the angel Gabriel told Daniel. Believers in the first century, like Simeon and Anna were looking for and expecting the Messiah because they believed the Word of God.
There are 109 distinct prophecies about the 1st coming of the Messiah, and 8 times as many for the 2nd Coming of Yeshua-Jesus. The question for each of us is will we believe the Word of God?
