Dump Truck Turns Over, No Injuries, LIVINGSTON, August 10, 2021 - At approximately 6:25 pm on August 11, 2021, the driver of a dump truck was east-bound on US-190 West (just east of the Corner Shell), when a vehicle pulled directly in front of the dump truck. The driver of the dump truck cut left to avoid slamming into the car. The driver lost control as the dump truck turned over and came to rest on the driver's side facing west. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Ashlee White and Cotye Lowrie with the Texas Highway Patrol. Fortunately nobody was injured. The driver of the car was cited in the accident. A heavy duty wrecker was sent for to recover the dump truck.
