U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 2d Marine Division (MARDIV), conduct an experimental physical assessment on Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 30-Aug 4, 2021. The Marines of 2d MARDIV's experimental battalion underwent a physical assessment consisting of a 500 meter swim, a five-mile run, and the Marine Corps' obstacle course to establish a baseline for measuring success throughout the predeployment training program.
