Laura Ingraham and GOP senator clash over infrastructure bill.
Things got chippy on The Ingraham Angle Monday when Laura Ingraham sparred with Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) over the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill , which is expected to pass the Senate in the near future.
Ingraham believes this will open the door for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and some of the more progressive Democrats to pass a $3.5 trillion spending package , which includes funding for family programs, clean energy and Medicare expansion.
But Cassidy sees things differently.
He believes that passing the infrastructure bill will prevent the much larger spending package from being passed, and that opposition to the bill aligns with Pelosi.
