The Larson Electronics IND-DHA-FUVC-EX-48-3L-V2 Far-UV Sanitation Fixture disinfects 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold and spores in locations requiring an aesthetically pleasing germicidal fixture for occupied areas. This eye and skin safe disinfection unit uses three 40-watt excimer lamps that emits far-UV 222 nm germicidal light. Protected by a heavy-duty aluminum housing with a 2-layer powder coated grey finish, the germicidal light features back mount L-brackets.

The IND-DHA-FUVC-EX-48-3L-V2 UV sanitation fixture is a powerful and sleek lighting solution for restaurants, businesses, busy locations and occupied areas. This 40-watt unit consists of three 40-watt excimer lamps that provides 222nm far UV-C output. Equipped with an expected lifespan of 10,000+ hours, the light emits a flood beam pattern. The housing on this sanitation unit is constructed of aluminum with a 2-layer powder coated grey finish for durability.

Far-UV 222 nm light is considered to be eye and skin safe for humans, allowing the lamps to be used in occupied areas safely with minimum risk. The 222 nm wavelength does not penetrate the cornea of the eye and cannot impose corneal impairment. Additionally, this UV band is blocked by the top layer of skin (stratum corneum) which protects underlying cells from damage. Exposure to far-UV 222 nm lamp does not cause skin inflammation or swelling.
