DELTA VS SEAL

Have you ever heard of a Delta Force Operator trying out to be a SEAL? Me neither...it would be a career downgrade. But SEALS try out for Delta because they know it is a huge step upwards (if they make it). The chances of being selected to be a member of the most elite SOF in the world is less than .0000006%. Selection is held twice a year. My class had 110 students; 6 finished the physical selection; 3 of us finished the entire assessment and selection and were accepted. At the time I was the youngest Operator at the age of 23 to get selected. The difference between SEAL selection and Delta selection is that every Delta Force Operator - Candidate completes A&S selection on his own. He is evaluated under a microscope to test his effective intelligence, physical stamina, and problem solving skills. He does not have the luxury of drawing strength from the heard...he is a lone wolf.
