You want flush-inducing niacin, but you want enough melatonin in each cell so you actually do NOT flush (i.e., you get ALL of the niacin into cells that way, which is contingent upon the amount of melatonin in the cells to allow the needed amount of niacin—through expression of the GPR109A aka HCA2 aka ACE2 receptor by making sufficient ADP (via melatonin continuing citric acid cycle) corresponding to how much excess ATP (/inflammation/oxidative stress/pathogen(s)/toxins/foreign particles:free radical electrons) there is inside cells needing to be addressed—to bind to that receptor and thus, instead of not getting into cells and so being in excess (and the nicotinic acid molecule then hitting the inside of capillaries (especially at the most inflamed regions which were depleted of the most melatonin and thus required the most melatonin to rearouse the niacin receptor expression) and being acidic clearing out, which is the flush response)) actually gets into cells, turn into NAD+ (and/or NAADP for endolysosomal formation + T cell facilitation + targeting + killing + phagocytosis/clearing), and clear the most gunk.
#NIATONIN #SweetSpot not the effects but the actual physical sensation feels like placebo. No grogginess and no flush, not even a tingle (especially in the hard to reach, most inflamed regions like the head).
Tolerance/Sweet Spot = therapy ... flush/intolerance = significantly LESS therapy
Make sure it’s enough melatonin (and note it will all be used up too at sweet spots, along with the niacin) so ALL of the niacin is used up. And enough niacin on top to drive the gunk ALL out to reset metabolic homeostasis on the cellular level through all of the cells, and thus comprehensive health and functioning.
Also note: you can get groggy and flush, and it’s not enough melatonin (doesn’t get dispersed ubiquitously and heterogenously through the body properly)... In fact, it’s better to even start on the heavy side with melatonin to ensure that all of the niacin is used up (and if so you don’t flush/tingle but are groggy and have excess bit of melatonin, you can hit with a bit excess niacin thereafter to clear it (and do a bit more therapy) and/or adjust next dose accordingly to achieve sweet spot by lowering melatonin and/or upping niacin). With each subsequent sweet spot, ALL of the niacin and melatonin you put in is used up to do the work aka therapy for you! And please, especially for recovery, you then want to take advantage of the dose-response. Keep going up with the niacin to up to 1.5, 2, even 3 grams (for adults) if you want to really expedite therapy if needed. Overpower this hell.
Good cofactors: magnesium glycinate, other B vitamins (make sure B3 listed in B complex is niacinamide aka nicotinamide), Bioavailable C (not straight ascorbic acid but with fruit fillers), grass-fed beef liver, copper bisglycinate, NAC (but not until sweet spots established: personally evaluate its benefit as addition thereafter), iodine, boron, bit of selenium, mixed E, TMG/betaine, dandelion leaf+root tea (with lemon + its zest & NZ Mayuka honey)
Avoid: zinc, quercetin, D3 (unless from sun/exercise, sardines, Russian caviar, lard), aspirin, apples (pectin; can space out once your accommodated to sweet spots), acetaminophen, ibuprofen (can space it out), pro/pre-biotics (or any of that stuff as melatonin and niacin regulate ALL gut/GI health), antihistamines, IVM (400 mg l-theanine and 500-750 mg GABA 1-2x a day for 3-6 days to recover from any neurotoxicity induced by it before you start protocol), HCQ, statins, steroids, antibiotics, thinners, blockers, inhibitors, BP meds, cholesterol meds, ideally any Rx preferably (they’re all inferior and toxic (and most are fake niacin derivatives) - space out and wean off if you are too reluctant)
