"Heroism on the Sea" - this piece of a silent newsreel issued by the now-defunct and disappeared Castle Films shows a ship in deep trouble in heavy seas, sinking, with the Captain heroically trying to save the ship, while saving the crew and all but one passenger, and eventually receiving a hero's welcome back to New York. He even gets a medal and a parade. Was the ship secretly carrying a supply of zirconium needed to construct the first atomic submarine, the USS Nautilus? The government isn't saying...
