Note: Use of the word "Extraterrestrial"... does not necessarily mean "aliens from outer space".
Nor does "outer space" mean there are beings living in the vacuum of fake space.
Extraterrestrial may simply mean that "beings' come from lands beyond our reach... outside of our known world. ie: Lands beyond the "dome", "barrier", firmament, underwhich we live. "Outer space", may be inhabited by beings, maybe human, living their own lives much like our own. But, possibly with superior technology of which we know nothing.

As our own environment continues to deteriorate (climate change = constant connery), NOT due to the peasantry, but to the powers that rule over us. We may need to move beyond our "dome" to a New Environment and either meet up with intelligent beings or begin anew on our own...

See Admirald Byrd Interview and Operation Highjump... who found land beyond the Ice Shelf that surrounds our PLANE, called Antarctica. A "way out" (to outer space) may be possible there... or maybe the North Pole. Because, there is no South Pole...
