God informs Abraham of His plans for Sodom and Gomorrah,
Abraham gives us a lesson on interceding for others.
God will not destroy the righteous.
God's desire is for people to repent so He doesn't have to do this again, He takes no pleasure in this, it was meant to serve as a warning.
