Silver Lake | Hope British Columbia | New Coleman 8 person tent! | The Richardson

Ep 23:

On this adventure I stuck out of town about 1.5 hours north towards Hope, British Columbia. Fun Fact: They filmed Rambo 1 here. Anyway I actually stopped A few exits shy and went up a logging road to Silver Lake. Here you will find a 30 site Provincial campground where I just so happened to score a free spot for two nights.

Day two had me driving for 3.5 hours to go get my kids for an unexpected second night! We get to meet Oxana and enjoy a tribute to Richardson! As a dad, hearing my son ask to stay another night after not wanting to leave the house is the icing on the cake. Take your kids camping folks, they need to unplug and throw rocks in a lake for a bit. This was a very enjoyable trip and I look forward to returning although I think Veronica will get mad at me 😉
