"I Just Feel Like Singin'" - Stone Faith Patriot (LIVE on YouTube 03/23/2021)

One evening this past March (2021) I was sitting in the living room, just relaxing, watching our dogs and cats play, and waiting for my wife to come home, and I got a sudden urge to do some singin'. I got my guitar out, set up a YouTube LIVE, and I started recording. My singing is WAY flat in some parts, and my guitar (Ovation Celebrity) was a bit out of tune, but at least I was making a joyful noise unto the LORD. That's part of serving the LORD with gladness and coming before His presence with singing, so yeah! It's far from professional, but it's a glimpse of reality into just a smidgen of my life.
Let me encourage you to sing to the LORD when you can. It doesn't matter if you're a professional vocalist or if you sing so far off key that anyone around plugs their ears, JESUS LOVES IT! You're making a heartfelt, sincere, joyful noise unto the LORD, and THAT is all that matters to Him. Bless His holy name!

God has been blessing America for over 400 years. In 1606 104 English men and boys sailed on 3 ships, the "Susan Constant", the "Godspeed", and the "Discovery", from England to what is now the shores of Virginia, where in May 1607 they settled the Jamestown settlement. God blessed them and protected them on their journey, and as the Reverend Robert Hunt, one of few devout Christians in that first group of settlers, gathered the group together, held a communion service, and dedicated this new land to Jesus. Times were hard those first years in Jamestown as the men were too wrapped up in pride and selfishness, ignoring their need for God, which almost ruined "Jamestowne" and their very lives.

In 1610, a group of people, including a hard-working devout Christian named John Rolfe, sailed from England for Jamestown, bringing provisions on the ship, "Sea Venture", but they encountered a hurricane and were shipwrecked on the shores of the Bahamas. Everyone on the ship survived and they built TWO ships from the wreckage of the Sea Venture, then brought the salvaged supplies to Jamestown. Although Jamestown was looking bleak and hopeless, just before the two new ships were about to leave Jamestown and return to England, another ship, the "Lord de La Warr", arrived from England with a fresh supply of colonists and generous provisions, restoring hope for Jamestown.

John Rolfe believed there was a Christian purpose for Jamestown, and he sought to "advance the Honor of God, and to propagate his Gospel." (words of John Rolfe in quotation marks). It was John Rolfe that shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the local natives, including a young woman named Pocahontas, the daughter of the native American Indian chief Powhatan. Pocahantas believed the Gospel and converted to Christianity, giving her heart to Jesus. Rolfe's heart was particularly touched by Pocahontas. Rolfe and Pocahontas fell in love and were married. After her conversion to Christianity, she changed her name to Rebecca. Rolfe and his wife Rebecca played an important role in the very fabric of what is now the United States of America. Although hardships in the Jamestown settlement were plenty, faith in God was also plentiful, and as a result, God blessed the settlement, and the expansion of the colonies, the patriots in the American Revolution, and on and on up until today

GOD HAS BLESSED AMERICA FOR WELL OVER 400 YEARS. IT IS CLEARLY TIME FOR AMERICA TO BLESS HIM BACK!
