The Sovereign God of Israel, King Cyrus, and President Trump

Throughout Scripture, God promises deliverance to Israel, and declares the nation to be a vessel through which the world will be blessed. This includes Christians, who are adopted into the family of God through faith in Christ. The Lord has shown Himself faithful, and because of the irrefutable confirmation of fulfilled prophecies, we can trust all His promises will be kept. And He can use anyone to accomplish His will!

You may argue that Donald Trump is not a godly man so how could his (re)election be part of God’s plan? In Isaiah 45, a pagan king, Cyrus, was not only raised up but anointed to be used by the God of Israel. President Trump may or may not be a type of Cyrus, who gave the decree to rebuild Jerusalem after the Babylonian captivity, but understand "He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings…" Daniel 2:21
