Crash and Burn

This song was originally called "Stage Fright". It's root inspiration is from the annoying invisible parasites sucking off my soul giving me anxiety when singing in public. As usual, with the boundless natural power of anger and frustration experienced through the lens of a tortured artist, the lyrics blossomed into a brutal critique of the mainstream world in 2004. I credit Zappa for expanding the modern musical landscape to advance artistic freedom to say absolutely anything within any musical form. Zappa for president!

It's fascinating to see how this world that he brilliantly satirized has jumped the shark to a dystopian nightmare of GMO foods, big farm, big pharma, big finance, big health, big internet, big Karens, big climate, big censorship, cancel culture, race war riots, secular gas-lighting, gender dilution, and mind numbing propaganda from "corporation.gov" and their big media information machine reminiscent of 2112.

This song was performed, recorded and produced by me @ Casual Sounds, Albuquerque 2021 with special thanks to my magical guardian angel and life partner, Chill, on synthesizers and vocals.

Thank you, peace
