#1MinuteEncouragement Beach Devotionals! They are so much fun. Summer has been great this year. Today, at the Heart TO Heart Rumble channel, I am talking about accomplishment and success. Accomplishment is probably one of our number one, human being common denominators. We all get up with the hope of accomplishing something in our day, some of us have real plans for accomplishment that will hopefully lead to success for us. God views success and accomplishment so differently from us, His motives are definitely different. He moves us towards forever, where we sometimes are stuck with the motives of right here, right now success. Sometimes the human viewpoint and the kingdom perspective clash. God has kingdom purpose at play in what He is wanting to accomplish, for success for His Kingdom and eternal plans to be realized for us. Whereas we human beings we set our motives on ourselves, it is all about us and what we can accomplish that leans into our success. Do we seek after success more than we do God? Interesting question! Self-gain or Kingdom gain? God has so much purpose behind what He is working out in our lives, wanting for us kingdom gain, not earthly gain. Success to God is us being consistently faithful to Him and growing, becoming like Him, day to day, adding value to His Kingdom. Is our view of accomplishment or success different? Many times, it is. We need to change it up from a worldly viewpoint to a kingdom perspective and work towards our accomplishments and success as we lean first into God’s Sovereign sway.
