The Budgerigar bird are small, streamlined parrots that average 18 to 20 cm in length. They are unlikely to be mistaken for any other parrot because of their small size, pointed wings and tails and distinct plumage patterns. Budgerigars is a small, long-tailed seed-eating parrot usually nicknamed the budgie, or in America English, the parakeet. Budgies are the only species in the genus Melopsittascus. Naturally , the species is green and yellow with black, scalloped markings on the nape, black, and wings. The lifespan 5 to 8 years Scientific name Melopsittascus Undulatus.
