For twenty-five years, an unidentified serial rapist and murderer known as “The Bike Path Rapist” terrorized Buffalo, New York. He unleashed his reign of terror in the early 1980s and continued through 1994. Then as suddenly as the killings began ,,, they simply stopped.

Had The Bike Path Rapist died? Had he moved on? Had he been incarcerated for some other crime? No one could say for sure...

Not until September 2006, when a 45 yr old mother was found dead on a rural bike path and her murder was a spot on match to the MO of The Bike Path Rapist. He was most definitely back; but his killing time was was about to run out.
