Jesus has to appear to us in an unfamiliar form in order for divine love to become comfortable to how we must receive it. As a stranger god awakens us to our truest and deepest need.

“Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form…” - Mark 16:12 NIV.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” - “now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is” - 1 John 3:1&2 NIV.

“…as He is, so are we in this world” - 1 John 4:17 NKJV.

“Even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters” - Isaiah 56:5 NKJV.

“For I am the LORD, I do not change” - Malachi 3:6 NKJV.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” - Hebrews 13:8 ESV.
