Heavy showers and thunderstorms will begin to pull out of the area later overnight with additional rainfall upwards of 1-1.5". Several areas south of Highway 29 have picked up between 1 and 2 inches of rain. A few additional showers and storms are possible in the morning. We will turn have skies clearing in the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Friday will be similar temperature wise, cooler, in the upper 70s to near 80. Skies will be sunny which will be a nice start to kick off the weekend. Several days of sunny weather are expected as we head into the weekend and next week. Temperatures will be gradually rising into the mid to upper 80s by Monday.
