20210713 Location and Crime - The Daily Summation

It would be totally fair to argue the discussion in today's edition of The Daily Summation, is as much about "legal crime" is illicit wrongdoing.

It's time to face the fact that--particularly in heavily populated portions, but really, in far too much of the country as a whole--there are people in GOVERNMENT, INCLUDING POLICING, acting FAR OUTSIDE the best interests of those they're supposed to be "working for."

Yes, it IS true that lots of places seem more or less unlivable.

Who out there honestly believes that, if we just move away from those folks who're doing wrong, they'll take what they can get, and NOT come after other, greener pastures, when the folks they've already subjugated, cease to perform in the desired and anticipated fashions?

You may think that's the case, permit my VEHEMENT disagreement.

I can't TELL YOU how many times the great Rush Limbaugh said it--though how he said it might have been somewhat different. We must DEFEAT OUR ADVERSARIES ON THE BATTLEFIELD. We CANNOT let them just take large swathes of the country for themselves.

Part of the reason for this? It's not reasonable to assume they'll just stop on some imaginary line.

It's why we continue to fight crime in cities that look like they're lost. It's why we must CONTINUE TO FIGHT in the arena of ideas.

Want to give up? I get it. PLEASE, continue the fight.
