Study Finds Less Police Equals More Crime - Go Figure
3 years ago
2
A recent study put out by the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund shows that from 2019 to 2020 there has been a sharp increase in crime, including homicide, that coincides with calls to defund the police after violent protests broke out last year following the death of George Floyd. Some jurisdictions have indeed cut police budgets to the tune of millions of dollars while others have so demoralized their police forces that many officers are quitting, leaving fewer cops on the beat. These cities that show a spike in crime are run by Democrats and it is their policies that have caused this crisis.
