Mocha Bezirgan tells the story of Alex Bowes, a man who was choked by Montreal police while he was being detained during a violent arrest at Canada's largest protest against COVID restrictions in Montreal, Quebec. Alex was singled out from a crowd of thousands, he thinks because he was recording the officers actions, taken to the ground and choked before being thrown in the back of a police cruiser.
