Apples can be smashed into pulp, and pulp can be turned into liquid, but can liquid become solid?

Suggested Measurements / Recipe:
For reduction-only:
2-3 Cups of apple cider
Bring to boil, then IMMEDIATELY reduce to simmer, stir roughly every 5-10 minutes to avoid burning on the bottom.
Simmer down until it becomes thickened roughly 60-90 minutes
