The woman, the statue of liberty holds a torch that represents “light” to lead, like showing the way, so she “bears” the light. Since the definition of Lucifer means “light bearer” she represents Lucifer.

Lucifer, since he is an angel and has no need of gender, they can represent both or neither genders. Meaning that Lucifer can be represented by both male and female physical qualities. Like Baphomet(satan) is shown with qualities of both genders. As well as many different forms in many different religions and cultures. The lady of the statue of liberty is the Roman Godess Libertas, who is also known as Ishtar, the Godess of harlots. Often worshipped by Pagans in Biblical times. Ishtar is also associated with the Planet Venus.

“Light bearer” can also be represented by the planet Venus. Since Venus is seen just before and after the sun rises, Venus therefore “bears” or shows the way to the light of the Sun. The Sun can represent God in this case. Interestingly, the planet Venus is called the “morning star.” In the Bible Lucifer is referred to as the “morning star” and “son of the dawn.”

Venus also happens to be quite the most hellish planet in our solar system, but that’s just a thought.
