What Are You Defined By?

Nothing is impossible for God to do. You may “feel” like this is not true, especially if you are stuck in a marsh like a cattail going nowhere and left to dry up in the parchment of the heat of situation you are positioned in. That is a mouthful! But aren’t our feelings like that? Very BIG, overextended, overwhelming, and explosive at times! Don’t define your actions by your feelings! God can make a way for us to bloom in the middle of a marsh. No doubt about it. With God in us, and our lives connected to Him heart to heart, we can bloom, even if it is the worst place to be positioned, we can flourish. Our life situations should not define us. Our past should not define us. We belong to and are loved, navigated and helped by a spectacularly amazing God; this should define us. Sooner than later, God will make a way for us where there seems to be no way. In the middle of our weeds, stuck in a marsh, it feels like there is not a way. We can’t be defined or directed by our feelings, they are so wishy-washy and unstable, or our attitudes which are very susceptible to the enemy of our soul and his depressive influences. But, God’s Truth is not, it is strong, steady and sure. Our reality of truth, we will be able to stand on it, because God’s truth can endure the tests and trials of time, and help us grow through until God delivers us in that famous way of His.
