Atomic bomb test of 1946 today

the US gained possession of a state of the art Nazi destroyer after world war 2 and what better thing to do with it? Drop not one but two atomic bombs on it ( well really close to it and many other ships ) If you have never seen the documentary "Radio bikini" it's a must see about the second and third bomb test at Bikini atoll in what is now The Republic of the Marshall Islands . This ship was part of the "Baker and Able atomic bomb tests" it survived both blasts and was towed to another atoll where it capsized and sank sometime later. Much to my surprise I only detected normal background radiation after 75 years. It's a massive ship resting in about 80 feet of water.
