If Only I Had Wings was written by Greg Scheer and Colin Gordon-Farleigh. The track was produced by Darren Mullan of Wrap It Records. The lyrics were inspired by the story of a young father who lost his wife and was left to raise their little son on his own. I first heard a beautiful version of this sung by Jennifer Douglas.
