Independence Day

Our day of independence is here
truth is heard both loud and clear
liberties unshackled, released from fear
our freedom it is held so dear

Before this day most were unaware
many it seemed just didn’t care
reality itself was too much to bear
those awakened were much too rare

The tides have turned and all is known
knowledge has gnawed to the very bone
those in denial turn into stone
we the truthers are no longer alone

Independence from mental cages
seeing the wisdom of the sages
tyranny and lies invoke and enrages
history is false in the written pages

Humanity is finally awake at last
leaving behind the prisons of past
into hell the demons were cast
fury came both hard and fast

Never again shall we be so blind
deceptions were a long task to unwind
honesty and love is easier to find
now go live a life that is wise and kind
