The Asian koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus) is an individual from the cuckoo request of birds, the Cuculiformes. It is found in the Indian Subcontinent, China, and Southeast Asia. It shapes a superspecies with the firmly related dark charged koels, and Pacific koels which are in some cases treated as subspecies. The Asian koel like a large number of its connected cuckoo kinfolk is a brood parasite that lays its eggs in the homes of crows and different hosts, who raise its young. They are uncommon among the cuckoos in being generally frugivorous as adults. The name koel is echoic in beginning with a few language variations. The bird is a broadly utilized image in Indian and Nepali poetry.
