When we trust in works to save us, no matter how we say they happened, and no matter who we say does them, we are deceived. And many times the deception can be so subtle that we don't see it unless we look more closely. The most deceptive doctrine that has made men believe they are saved by works that has ever come upon us during this dispensation of the grace of God, IS THE FALSE DOCTRINE OF ORIGINAL SIN AND SIN NATURE. To be deceived by this doctrine is to be kept from knowing Jesus and His deliverance from death to life.
